An exchange in another thread got me wondering what the mean version of
this ng would say.  How about:

Butch up!

Eat less, exercise more.

No excuses.  Unless you're tetraplegic, there is bound to be something
you can do that counts as exercise.

If you're losing anything, then you're not stalled, and nobody cares if
you think it's too slow.

If you want to know what Splenda is, what those three numbers in a .sig
mean, or whether or not you can have alcohol on induction, here's a
useful website which should answer all your questions:

http://www.justfuckinggoogleit.com/

And read the fricking book.

Would anyone care to add to this list?

All two of them, right?

At least you can get all of that pent-up angst out here - in a low-carb
forum - where your mental prowess really shines.
BTW, at what age did your parents (two daddies) killfile you? My geuss is
around three years old. Funny, your intellect seems to have stunted at that
age also.
Go figure...

You insulted the entire low-carb board. As a matter of fact, you put the rest
of us *lower* than JC, since he supposedly shines here with all of us
mouth-breathing, drooling idiots. I'm not sure why JC upsets people so much, he
is who he is. Who cares?

Thanks about the pics, I'm off this %#$&!! prednisone in one more week, and
maybe can get back to losing this last 20 pounds. I definitely need a new pic
up!

This way of eating is for a life time, so it's an ongoing learning
experience. It's better to lurk in a newsgroup for a few months and read
some of the past postings. A lot of questions have been hashed out numerous
times before. Sometimes the information that is given is something you "need
to hear", not what you "want to hear".

Just would like to point out that it gets harder and harder to sit in this
chair and read all this when there is so little padding left on the
backside.  My tailbone is not used to making direct contact with a chair.
Lady o' the house - 22 Nov 2004 20:21 GMT
AMEN!!  That's been my ONLY complaint since dropping so much weight.  So I
guess that means we ought to get off our tailbones more often, huh, Jim?

nah - I won't.  you aren't one of those mass mailing insane cross-posting
nutters.  you're fine really.  it's just that i find your post rather annoying
and i was a bit twitchy at the time - I am tired of seeing people saying how
nasty people are in here because we aren't all nasty in here, there are quite a
few kind people around and it's like their effort are being neglected while the
nastiness kept on being highlighted.  sorry if my post annoyed you in return.

That's absolutely not what I was saying.  I've been here for five and a
half years, though not much lately for various reasons, and I have made
some good friends here.  I don't think it's a nasty place, or I wouldn't
still be here.

I was musing on alt.support.diet.low-carb, and it was a flight of fancy,
imagining that the "support" was replaced by "bitch-slap", in which
case, how would people phrase things?

Or, put another way, tough love.  What, I wondered, are the basics of
low carb, as told to someone who really needs to hear it like it is in
order to face up to reality?

I actually thought we could have some fun with this :-(

>sorry if my post annoyed you in return.

Not at all.

OK - now I get you!!  the www.fuckinggoogleit.com was actually very funny.  may
be bitch-slap comments are what some of the long time posters need to post - how
many times can people repeat the basics of low carb to newbies who can't be
bothered to read the FAQ before going mad?

Now I'll add to your entries with this:

"Read the bloody ASDLC FAQ you moron!"
