Another week, another pound.

I wish I could say this is easy, but it requires diligent work.  I find that
my diet does not require great intensity, but rather requires a persistent
plodding along in the process.

Never give up.

Looks like I'm whooshing.  I wasn't expecting this.  It makes me wonder if
my potassium salt supplementation has changed something.  However, it is too
soon to guess.  I'll need at least a month of increased potassium to see if
the weightloss rate has changed.

For a few days I added a half teaspoon of Morton Lite salt, then yesterday I
switched to a half teaspoon of NoSalt.  The NoSalt has twice as much
potassium as the Lite Salt.  Overnight, I lost 1.4 ponds.

I had been running as low as 15% of the Daily Value for potassium.
Yesterday, I was at 77% of Daily Value per Fitday.

I would expect a salt to cause water retention.  My weight change may be a
fluke.

Well, it may not be due to extra potassium, but I doubt it's a fluke.

I've since done some web searching, and found that a potassium deficit can
cause water retention.

I'm still whooshing.  8.2 pounds in 13 days.

Tonight I dine out with friends.  That will stop it.

Interesting.  Does this appear as a big dip on your charts?

Short chart looks like I fell off a cliff.  The long term chart looks like a
ski slope with a small twist downward at the end.  My weight variations
usually zig zag in a range.  This whoosh has moved out of that range into a
lower area that does not look right for my chart.

I'm wondering if I will go right back to 1.3 pounds per week, or if I will
continue at my new 1.9 pounds per week.
