After what she wrote about Carmen's husband, I really am surprised
everyone is including her again in the conversations. She needs to be
completely ignored by everyone, then she will go away for once and for
all. She's not even doing low carb, for chrissake! She's obviously a
lunatic who does not want help, so why do we let her drag us into her
psychotic dramas?

* There are several people on this NG who post with arrogance and a nasty
attitude - why pick on one poster and ignore the others?
She needs to be

* Because *YOU* say so? If you don't like a poster killfile them. That's
what killfiles are for.

* Maybe all poster who think they own the NG should go away and form a
moderated NG of their own. I notice some of you like to provoke people,
then attack them when they respond as viciously as they're attacked. Go to
alt.config and see about starting a moderated NG. YOU can elect yourself
moderator.

* Remember your KILLFILE? Try using it and stop torturing yourself.....

But she scraped the barrel during her last "episode".

This is true. It was a rotten thing to say, but there are plenty of rotten
things said to people on this NG. Killfile her if she upsets you.

Well, since I am guilty as charged, I suppose I should say something. Jaime
has been here for years, and we've been through the "acting out" stuff
before... this is actually pretty mild. And I think we kind of understand
where it's coming from. And we also know it isn't permanent. It's a
temporary aberration probably resulting from a combination of hurt and anger
and impulsiveness.
I'd say it's more a function of forgiveness and understanding than
condoning. What she said was lousy, and what's more, I know she knows that,
even if she doesn't admit it here. She's part of our collective history,
often contributes useful or interesting information, and even a bit of
entertainment from time to time. I don't think she's even actually mean,
just easily hurt and angered and very impulsive at the keyboard.
That help?

She's in pain. People in pain can behave regrettably. That doesn't
excuse it, but it does make it forgivable.
I believe I'm not the only one here who actually cares about Jaime. I
don't like it when she goes doolally. Who does?
If somebody screws up, it doesn't mean they don't deserve a second
chance. Or a third, or a fourth, or a hundredth.

I care about her. I understand her because I used to have the same
mindset.
