Breakfast:  3 egg omlette filled with 1-slice sharp cheddar cheese
                  1 slice ham

Lunch:   Chicken breast, large
              1 cup brocolli
              1/2 cup sf jello

Snack:   1/2 cup cottage cheese

Dinner:  Chicken breast, large
              1/2 cup green beans
              1/2 cup sf jello

Total Calories:  1550
Total Protein:   75
Total Fat:  190
Total carbs: 20

2 large eggs (omelet), 1/2 C shredded cheddar, 1 T butter

Lunch:  Salad with 2 C shredded romaine, 3 T peppercorn dressing, 1/4 C
tomatoes, 3 thick slices of bacon, crumbled, 1/2 lb ground beef

Dinner:  1/2 Boston Market chicken, 1/2 C broccoli, 1/2 C zucchini, 4 T
parmesan

Fat 163 grams
Carbs 20 grams
Fiber 5 grams
Protein 165 grams

.75 oz Deli Deluxe

Snack:  4 slices black forest ham, with 2 T cream cheese
1 string cheese

Lunch:  2 Hebrew National reduced fat hot dogs
1 Splenda packet
2 T un-ketchup (Westbrae)

Dinner:  (Sounds like this was a casserole of some sort)
 7 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast
1/4 C shredded jack cheese
1/4 C shredded cheddar
1/3 C mushrooms
2 slices bacon
1/2 C broccoli
1/2 C cauliflower

Fat 98g
Carbs 17g
Fiber 5 g
Protein 146 g

Cheese-Veggie Omelet (2 eggs, 1 oz. cheddar, red onion, red pepper, tomato)
2 slices bacon or sausage
Decaf coffee

LUNCH:
Chicken Salad (Canned chicken, mayo, boiled egg, green onion, tomato,
green pepper, lettuce)
Water

DINNER:
Grilled Pork Chops
Brussel Sprouts
Green Salad w/ mayo
Deviled Eggs
Water

8:30pm SNACK:
Boiled egg &/or 1-2 ounces cheese

10:00pm BEDTIME:
Decaf Chai Tea w/ 1 tsp. cream

Daily Total : 18 carbs

A typical induction menu for a day might be as follows:

Breakfast:
Eggs,bacon or an omlet with veggies or low carb salsa and
cheese,bacon,ham or sausage,decaf coffee w/real cream.

Lunch:
1 cup of salad w/ranch dressing or any other dressing containing 2
gms.or less of carbs per. Tbsp., tuna made with real Mayonnaise or other
meat or poultry, deviled eggs.

Dinner:
Steak, chicken or any other meat, 1 C.salad w/dressing, 1 C.low
carb.veggie of some kind ,decaf coffee or tea, sugar free Jello w/real
whipped cream.

Snacks can be celery filled with a little cream cheese, ham rollups made
with deli ham spread w/cream cheese and rolled up, deviled eggs,cheese
sticks, pork rinds.There are lots and lots of other possibilities, too
many to list here.  Be sure you are drinking all the water required.

Lunch and all afternoon:
Egg salad mix:
Homemade mayo (almond oil, olive oil, lemon juice, egg, a bit of roasted
garlic, and salt) and 5 hard boiled eggs

Dinner
3 hamburgers (1 pound before cooking)
1/3 C grilled onions
2 C romaine
Avocado (a bit less than 1/2 an avocado)

Total:  Cal 2527; Fat 200g; Carbs 20g; Fiber 6g; Protein 158g

Hm. According to atkins.com and my DANDR edition, cottage cheese is not
allowed during induction. I don't know why, though.

A POUND of meat? Yikes. That is a LOT of calories. (And a ginormous stomach
ache for most.)
