Just wondering if anyone in here has or is doing the meat & egg fast?
If so, how did it work and did you lose quite a bit?

That's the way I EAT on many days, I would not consider it a fast. :)

FWIW, I suspect the OP is KellyClarksonTV / Aplin17 with yet another boring
troll.

Your post sounded very similar in tone to a well-known troll in this ng.
Typically, she asks kind of weird questions (e.g., "Is anyone else in here
trying the eat every other day at 3 am diet?"), and never replies.

The structure of your post fit that style, and the fact that you were asking
about a "meat and egg fast" (something I've never heard of before, and could
find very little about through Google) sounded suspiciously like the troll.

If you're not this person...my apologies.

I got the impression the person meant eggs with sausage, ham or bacon.

Is ok. No, I heard about this in another web diet group and everyone
was telling all how much weight they lost. These were mostly people
who doing Atkins. I was just wondering is all. I am sorry.

Kelly/Aplin17 posts from Compuserve and doesn't crosspost to ASDLC
unless replying into an already crossposted thread.  This OP posted
from Easynews, and a meat-fast isn't anywhere near ridiculous
enough to hint of Kelly/Aplin.

Yep - my bad.

BTW - I did a google for meat and eggs fast, but came up with very little.
How can it be a "fast", if eating meat and eggs is part of the deal?  Is
there any science behind this, or is it one of those "urban legend" diets?
And, how does one get sufficient vitamins and minerals if eating such a
restricted menu?

Well, eggs isn't usually mentioned but a "meat fast" used to be a
common stallbreaker tactic in here.

Where were your 25 to 30 grams of daily fiber coming from?  Metamucil?

during the week I usually eat a 1/2 pound burger with two cheddar
cheese slices and a small salad with feta cheese.... and eggs and
bacon in another meal. on my days off i eat my proper fiber ratio.

as for the meat fast and how i do? this is the only thing that
maintains my goal! I don't exercise near as much as i used to (trying
to put together a web business) and i gain weight very easy. so I'm
happy with it. My doctor monitors my CBC and cholesterol and all of it
stays well into the very healthy range. so I'd say try it, and check
your levels.

I used to meatfast quite a lot in my early LC days.  Yes it worked very
well.
