kaimbu@earthlink.net - 04 Apr 2005 06:44 GMT I really liked this stuff, but can't find in my supermarkets here in SoCal anymore. Does anyone know what happened / where I could find some?
Brenda - 04 Apr 2005 09:54 GMT I've seen the LC Post Cereal in many of the 99 Cent Stores here in SoCal. There are many other LC products on the shelf, too, like Krusteaz LC Pancake Mix and other varieties of LC Krusteaz Mixes, as well as a few Carb Options products. Besides the 99 Cent Stores, I'd check Big Lots, too. They get all the products that don't sell in the grocery stores.
JC Der Koenig - 04 Apr 2005 12:33 GMT Cereal is not low carb.

JC Der Koenig - 06 Apr 2005 03:27 GMT Jared is in the normal weight range for his height, and he's still fat, which means he should lose even more weight.
I don't expect you to understand.

Therefore, his weight is not fine.

My local Walmart has some. And don't forget to look for the coupon printed on the inside of the box.
I use the cereal as my daily 'soy' snacks.

: SoCal anymore. Does anyone know what happened / where I could find : some? My local Wal-Mart stopped selling this cereal, but Kroger's has it. I hope you have a Kroger's store there. I have also gotten it at Albertson's.

Papa Joe - 30 Apr 2005 17:19 GMT > I really liked this stuff, but can't find in my supermarkets here in > SoCal anymore. Does anyone know what happened / where I could find > some? Hi I too eat this cereal with a couple of others and kinda like the non cinnamon one better.
However, I noticed that it, along with all other low(oops, 'reduced') carb items are disappearing from the shelves at a lot of retailers--Walmart being one. Simultaneously, I find them at the local Rite Aid and others with a 'reduced' sticker on them. I believe I am seeing a move away from the reduced carb stuff in some areas, which is a shame as there was very little marketing done for them....and a number of them were very good. The Walmart Carb Sense product line had a lot to offer in the soups, snacks and dessert lines. They have kept the excellent selection of reduced carb breads though.
I am looking for some information on the Carb Sense products and have written WalMart to see if they will part with the actual producers of the products...so far, no response.
The 'majors' are still around--Special K, All Bran, etc, but they seem to like aspartame and/or sucralose for some reason. Personally, I do not need sweeteners of any kind and cannot see why they have to be included. Slices of fruit do the job for me.
FWIW. Thanks for the time. Joe

I tried the Carb Focus tomato soup, it was very good.

trader4@optonline.net - 30 Apr 2005 18:52 GMT It's not hard to find the who makes Carb Sense products, it's on the box. Or try www.carbsense.com. They seem to still have products listed on their website, so I guess they are still making them, which is a good thing, cause I like many of them.

I should have said 'Carb Focus' for the snacks and the soups, both of which I find/found very good.
Their bags/cans just say marketed by WalMart...no producer.
The carb sense products I have not tried....but will now.
Thanks for taking the time to post a reply. Joe
