First of all, you didn't post enough information for anyone to make an
informed comment. How tall are you? How much do you weigh? Do you have
diabetes? Are you physically fit? Are you male or female? How old are you?
BTW: operations cost a lot more than losing weight with self discipline.

You probably need to accept that you're getting older and your body will
never be what it was when you were 21. The imperfections are going to
increase and short of going the Joan Rivers route, you're going to have to
accept certain things. Welcome to middle age!

Yup, it's sad but true! I'm at the point where instead of eating, I may as
well just duct tape food to my a.s and save myself the trouble of chewing.
That's where it's going to end up anyway!

BULLSHIT!
You need not accept anything, not even laziness.
Keep working out
Do more spot concentration exercise
Never give up....Never surrender!

I bet your favorite song is Anne Murray's "Daydream Believer," right?
Or is the Disney SOng, "I Don't Wanna Grow Up ..."
You can cuss, you can wish, you can pretend, you can ignore, you can deny
...
But in the end we all age and succomb to gravity and the laws of physics
and physiology. It happens to those who are lazy, it happens to those who
are not lazy; it happens to those who exercise and to those who do not
exercise.
You actually believe that aging is not inevitable? That a 40-year old can
expect to have the same body that he had at 21?

I've seen some 40+ year old gym rats (male and female) that have
_better_ bodies than the vast majority of 21 year olds!
So, yes.

Heh. ;-)
But we all hope to "get there" eventually...
Right?
I'll post pictures of my abs as soon as they arrive.

I don't have pics yet (maybe I'll go visit my sister over the weekend and
ask her to take some), but my 42 yo body is definitely better than it was
for most of *my* 20s and, IMO it's better than quite a number of the
students I see around campus (not all of them by any means, though <g>).
I'm not sure if it's the weight training or the running, but my legs,
which were never my best feature, are starting to look pretty shapely (I
did think I was getting some inner thigh flab back but I was looking at
my legs as I was stretching and turns out that's a muscle).
It's never too late to make improvements.

You're considering surgery before considering a diet?
Smells like a troll to me. At least trolls are low
carb when cooked fresh. So let's glance through your
posting history. Right, assorted rantings on various
groups. More like a nut than a troll.
Thanks for the entertainment, though. It was fun
glancing through your posting history asking about
copying CDs, asking how to seduce strippers and assorted
other bizzare lunatic rantings. Fairly artistic in a
dumb way.

Go to www.t-tapp.com and click on the "Try before you buy" tab at the
top. The link that says 'secret to a flat stomach' is what you want to
look at. She gives you directions for the exercise for free. Doing
this 3 times a day for a week, and you'll see noticable results. It
will take you less than 15 minutes a day. Adding aerobic exercise on
top of this to burn fat will really help.
I can't recommend Teresa's videos enough. They're expensive, but very
well worth the price. In 13 days I lost 7 inches when I started. The
average is to loose one dress size a month doing her 15-minute workout.
