I'm 42 and have metabolic syndrome.  Found a new book at amazon.com
that has helped me get a handle on my diet and I thought I'd share it.
"Dr Buynak's 1-2-3 Diabetes Diet"  let me know what you think or if you
know of other/better resources.

I am not familiar with Buynak.

Generally, I think the best resources are the Eades (for general
low-carb info), Bernstein (for diabetes info) and the FAQ of this
newsgroup (for the most *practical* info gathered by a bunch of very
bright folks).

It's published by the American Diabetes Association, not a good
recommendation.

Does Bernstein use low carb?  I like Buynak because it isn't just about
carbs.

I don't think the ADA is that evil.  I went to their EXPO and found it
pretty informative.
