In ketosis with no weight loss

Ok I've been on a diet for 2 weeks and lost no weight. I am 5'6” and at 170lbs.
For breakfast I have a 210 calorie low fat yogurt and a 240cal boost shake. I
skip lunch because I'm not hungry. I also do on average 1 hour of moderate
work and sit in front of the computer the rest of the day working. Dinner I have
two 100 calorie potatoes with no topping, some nights I'll have a 230 calorie
energy bar. I lost not a single pound in two weeks of this diet. I used to
consume 2500-3000 calories of pizza and fast food daily. How can I drop
nearly 2000 calories with no changes? Before dinner I measure my ketones that
is always 15 pink. I drink a lot of water and the urine is clear. It never showed
any pink before the diet so I have to be in ketosis? Why is the weight staying?
Thanks.

I might be wrong in saying this, and someone please correct me if I am,
but it was my understanding that on a low-carb diet one must eat enough
high-protein, low-carb food to cause the body to burn up enough fat to
liberate the stored carbs so the body can then process the food you've
eaten.  If you don't eat enough, then you might be eating enough carbs
to process what else you've consumed.  For me, I try to eat no less than
three pounds of meat per day.  At first I didn't lose any weight but I
did feel slimmer.  Now the weight is coming off 1 lb per day.

Three pounds of meat is way too much.

I've done it before, with phenomenal results.

You can't eat two potatoes and be in ketosis.  You need protein and fat,
lose the boost shake whatever that is an egg a couple of eggs.  For dinner
have some kind of meat and a nice big salad.

Potatoes are not low carb. C'mon. That's pretty dumb.

:-)

The subject line made me think of a story Roger Zoul told recently
here (I think it was him), about a woman who actually *gained* weight
while in confirmed ketosis.... this mystified the Atkins people when
they heard about it, so they brought this chubby lady for labs and
tests and to watch what she ate.... turns out a favorite bedtime snack
of this lady was a stick of butter sprinkled with cinnamon, if I
remember correctly.

  Hahahahaha
