Does anyone know if this stuff is still being produced? I know alot of the
other products have been stopped, but this stuff has basically been on the
shelves all this time at retail price, until now. It's the only Atkins food
product that I actually like!

AFAIK, it's kaput too. I no longer see it in any stores here in NJ.
You can go look on the Atkin website to find out for sure.  I think the
only things they are going to continue to produce are the bars and
shakes.  Sad, because the cereal was very good.

Google is good, it is our friend.

Hi, We have a store here in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania, called
Wegmans and they sell the Atkins cereal, but not their bread.  Actually I
think Wegmans originated in New York.  Hope this helps.

Interesting, because I just checked on the Atkins products website, and
there is no cereal there.  Did you see it at Wegmans recently?   By now
with expiration dates, if they aren't making it, it should be long gone
from the shelves.   The only things they still have showing at Atkins
are bars, candy, shakes and ice cream.   Maybe that's why they went
bankrupt.   Let's see, which products should we focus on:

Ice cream, where you had Breyers, plus 5 other varieties, all on sale
for $2.50 for a half gallon every other week, where the Atkins product
was OK, but way expensive and never on sale.  Bars, candy and shakes
all have equally intense competition.

or

Cereal, where there were only a few competitors, Atkins had IMO, the
best product by far, and there were few discounts.   Actually now, with
Atkins cereal disappearing, I think the only other product that might
be left is South Beach, but not even sure they continue to make that
and it's not very LC.

Sad that the products left are the ones farthest away from traditional
food.

I was there yesterday and it was on the shelf.  But I will double-check
today, because I have to return some items.

Thanks for the info.  Very interesting that it's still there.   Take a
look at the date code too.   I'm gonna check the local Wegmans here.

I stand corrected.  What I saw initially when I glanced at the cereal was
not Atkins cereal, but a brand called "Eat Well Live Well" which is not low
carb IMO.  That was a dirty trick for Wegmans to put that cereal in the Low
Carb area of the store.  Anyway sorry about the misinformation and I will
continue to keep my eyes open for Atklins cereal.

Hmm, did they discontinue making it?   It used to be on netrition.com and
drugstore.com and both say it has been discontinued.  I've found it online
here though, if they actually have it in stock:

If I want to really find something....... anything..... I look on Ebay.
In the last year I've bought dozens of boxes of the stuff from a few bucks
to as little as $1. Sadly I haven't seen any at all. That probably means it
is indeed gone forever!

EWLW is the successor company to "Carb Sense", but I agree.  They claim
their products to be diabetic-friendly, but that doesn't mean LC.

I used to get Hi-Lo at Trader Joe's, but they've discontinued carrying (West
coast) most LC products, such as cereal, including their own "More & Less"
brand.

I've seen Hi-Lo at the regular grocery store, but double the price at TJ's.
The same company, Nutritious Living, makes a ZONE Diet cereal that low-GI/L.

For myself, I waver between strict carb-counting and Glycemic index where
available.  I tried the South Beach Diet cereal but that disappeared too.

These days I use a base of Fiber One and then mix in either Zone (see above)
or Weight Watchers "Flakes N Fiber".  Trying to find the best fiber-to-carb
ratio with low-to-no added sugar.

For HOT cereal, go with "Flax-Z-Snax"

I could have sworn I saw it at Wal-Mart two weeks ago.
