I haven't been around much lately, having been out of state for more
than a month and starting a new job requiring long hours. But many of
you are in my thoughts. Everyone have a safe and happy holiday. No
lectures or admonitions ... just enjoy your day, hopefully with loved
ones.

You too Peter. Hope you have a great holiday, and most especially a safe
one.

Ditto here! I've been dealing with a family medical crisis for a month
now, so I've only been popping in on occasion. I'm STILL eating low-
carb, though :-)

I haven't had much time to check in here in quite a while, either. Thanks
for the good wishes, Peter, and I hope that you and all asdl-c'ers had a
good holiday. I ended up cooking for a crowd, which was a challenge in my
new, small kitchen. But it is fun to get family together.
The good thing about doing the cooking is that you get all the leftover
turkey... I'll be eating turkey for some time to come! Tonight I sauteed
some onion in olive oil, added a couple cups of cut-up frozen broccoli. When
just tender I added diced turkey and some diced sharp cheddar. Quick and
tasty and all in one pan.
Peter, good luck with the new job. I must have missed the earlier report.
