Yes and no, if you're referring to rx drugs, like Precose (acarbose).  I
take it on the rare occasions I eat starch or dessert.  It prevents some
 carb digestion, or just delays it.  I still get the bloat the next
day, so I doubt it blocks all of it, or most of it, though.
