I'm about the start the Atkins diet but I'm struggling to know which
vitamins to get. I know I need B, C and 30 others but the only ones I
could find with B, C and 30 others had iron in, which I'm supposed to
avoid. I bought one that had about 10 other vitamins in.

Also, I'm struggling with EFA and GLA. I did find some Evening Primrose
Oil which looked perfect as it came with vitamins as well, but the words
on it scared me away: "Women's health" and "Help keep your hormones
balanced." Looked in a couple of supermarkets and they all have similiar
things. I really have no idea what I'm getting, is it safe to take this?

Why not get a multivitamin and be done with it?

EFA?  Yes.  You can get that from food, you know.

If you're looking for omega 3 fatty acids, you could try cod liver oil or
other oils (like flax oil).  They should be refrigerated, though.

GO to www.mynsp.com/BeNaturalHealthy to find the multivitamin without
iron I had the same problem.

I tried several of the Men's multi's from the health stores, but never
could get beyond the awful vitamin taste.  These multi's were packaged
in two-piece  gel capsules that leaked the contents.

Switched to one-a-day Men's health formula, with Selenium, Lycopene,
and no iron.  These are caplets, have no after-taste, and are
inexpensive at Walmart.

The vitamins I just got taste just like smarties when they're put on the
tongue, they don't taste so nice if they're chewed though.

Atkins wrote a whole book on Vitamins:
"Dr. Atkin's Vita-Nutrient Solution"

It may be a bit out-of-date, but dirt cheap as a used book.
