There's always these studies.

Of course *just* monitoring your bg doesn't do anything to improve
your health.  Unless you make changes based on your readings, there's
no damned point in doing readings.

I could've told them that without having to do a study first.

It's the same thing as if the cops kept used radar guns to check your
speed, but never wrote tickets.
