Honey Flavoring?

One of my father's part-time work/hobby was bee keeping. Of
course because we had so much honey around all the time (not
to mention the work it involved), I grew to dislike the stuff.

However, I've lately started to wish there was a faux honey
flavoring available for tea or things like honey-mustard
dressing.

I've written DaVinci to ask them to look into making a SF
honey syrups.  But does anyone know of another resource?

i don't know but keep us posted if you find anything! i just mentioned in
another thread I used to like it on PB. i used to like trying all the
different honeys in the health food store too. the wildflower types and from
other countries. i heard having honey from you local area is supposed to be
very good for you, like for immunities to seasonal allergies, etc. too bad
it isn't all sugar LOL

OMG -- Rosie! I remember you from the ooollld days. Well, I dunno, let me
think. I was on prodigy in like the late 80's, (I think) with my 300bps
modem, then on compuserve at 14.4k until maybe 92. Then the 28.8 modems came
out, The Net got popular (thanks to Al Gore!), I found Usenet, and
eventually came across Rosie in ASDLC and/or a.s (alt.stop.smoking) or
something like that, maybe, 1995 or so??? Maybe it _hasn't_ been that long &
I'm hallucinating due to the carbs flushing out of my brain. (They say the
brain doesn't work without carbs. Please, nobody tell my boss!) Anyway, hope
you're doing well! --

Hey, when did the second Atkins book come out? I remember getting on the
low-carb bandwagon with the first book (although silly me I didn't stick
with it). Then came CAD, PP and all the rest.

Thanks for the mammaries!

Still not smokin? Still skinny?

That has Sodium Benzoate in it, have any of you read how completely that is
for you??

Dunno...just read a bit about it, it's in salad dressings, jam, pop. fruit
juice, chinese sauces, mouthwash, naturally in cranberries, prunes, plums,
cinnamon, cloves, apples...organic cranberries and prunes can exceed the FDA
limit on it when it's used as a preservative (if it's that bad, guess no
more organics for me...) - also antifungal, and used in liver testing...

Couldn't find anything that worries me any more than any other preservative
on the planet, but since I've been using these syrups for several years (and
salad dressing and cinnamon and cloves and chinese sauces and cranberries on
occasion) whatever is supposed to happen prolly already did.
