Hi. Just new. Read about the 2PD-OMER. Perhaps I have lived under a
brick my whole life, as it never, ever occurred to me to have a
measurement of a total day consumption in pounds, rather that
calories, points, etc.
It is a stunningly simplistic option which I believe and hope to be
the answer to all my prayers about weight and health concerns.
Thanks be to Jesus for providing us with excellent minds to light the
path for us.

ROFL???? ROLLING ON FLOOR LAUGHING???? I did not know what that ROFL
meant at first. I was hoping it was short for caring and support. I
did not know I was sooo funny. Perhaps I should have been a comedian.
I was hoping someone would say "Hey I am doing this also, shall we
band together?" Or "I have been trying this for a couple of months
and........."
User groups should be helpful, not condescending. When I found out
what the term meant, I was hurt. Not everyone knows computer
language, and not everyone has been with this group forever, and even
so why would a person be so flippant with their responses without a
care about the other person?
I am here for help and if I am in the wrong group I would appreciate
if other people would let me know - kindly.

You're in the wrong group. This group is for those committed to low
carb dieting.

If you are not joking, find another diet. Why? Search groups.google.com for
Andrew B. Chung and see for yourself.

There is no wrong group. Dr. Chung is everywhere, so you shouldn't
have a problem finding him.

I'll bet this is a shill, or the doctor himself.

The thought occurred to me.
There was no other reason to post it here, of all places.

Well, thank you all for your caring thoughts. I am real, I am not a
shill. You can bet your best hat I am out of here. Good grief, I
thought perhaps there was some one out there who cared. Man, you are
all "out there" alright. I have never been so ashamed of people in my
life!!!!
Susan, you are the leader, and I will NOT follow.

The shill is now "ashamed" of the folk in her OFF-TOPIC group.
The doctor has spammed this group with the 2 pound madness using shifting
email addresses for many months now. Is it years?
The reference to hats makes this sound like a woman. Maybe it is not the
doctor himself. I wonder how he put her up to it?
Even Charles Manson has a following.
Note: I try to remember to no-archive if I am requoting Susan.

You are seriously crazy. Why are you posting there? Chung has his own
support sites that you surely know of, so why don't you go there to get his
love and support? You can quack like a duck too.
em - 21 Aug 2007 20:34 GMT
I've seen many posts calling "doctor 2pd-omer" a quack and a nut. There may
be people out there who believe in this guy and/or support him, but I have
not seen anybody state that. Based on the usenet posts I've seen, most
people detest this guy and wish he'd stop posting on so many groups.
In short, this group does not support the 2pd-omer, we are all on "low carb"
diet plans. If you are interested in learning about low-carb, this is a
great group.
If you think the 2pd-omer will work for you, more power to you. Give it a
try! Surely you can get in touch with the doctor himself and I bet he would
be happy to support you.

Good grief, not the two-pound diet again. Could we get all the
proponents of the two-pound diet to eat nothing but two pounds of
lettuce every day, to put them out of our misery?

For decades, backpackers have talked about how many pounds per day of
[typical backpacking]food are required to give adequate energy for
backpacking.
Typically, this is around two (2) pounds per day.
Two pounds per day, 2PD, isn't exactly new. Well, to you it is.
I remember reading this sort of thing in the 1970's, and I don't know
how much earlier is the origin of this line of talk.
What is the address of the brick where you live ?
