I was told that and did it. I lost 190 pounds by not laying around on
my a.s all day long. You should try this instead of some fancy painful
diet plan.
All you need to do is walk for 30-45 minutes 5-7 days per week, every
week!
Basically you get off of your lazy fat a.s and you lose weight.
Denying yourself sugars is not a way to lose weight AND keep it off.
Most diets fail because people become HUNGRY or BORED with the diet.
Yes you can eat again, you have permission to eat regular meals like
your friends and co-workers do. You'll just need to get off of your
lazy fat a.s at least 30 minutes a day.
Good luck [you're still here and not walking I see?]

Yet you're obviously in front of your computer and sitting on your a.s.

BUT I don't weight 456 pounds like most here.
I know it's painful to hear the truth about the root of being a
fatass.
It's not genetic either. Fatness is caused by consuming too many
calories in combination with little to no execise.
Notice how skinny people skip meals at times and they also do not eat
3 hamburgers when they do eventually eat.
Keep an eye on a skinny person for a week, notice how they do not EAT
the way a fatter does.

They also don't get hungry like a fat person does. Genetics don't make
you fat, but biological factors beyond one's control, including
genetics, can make a person feel hungrier than others, more intensely
than others, and for longer periods of time. That's what's so great
about low-carb for many people. For some, you just don't feel as hungry
when not eating so many carbs, so it's easier to eat less.

Did you briskly walk down to your local Subway?

Define painful. I find LC to be rather enjoyable. Painful is the
reflux I had with carbs.

Not that I'm super morbid obese (or ever was) but yeah, that'll
work. It certainly didn't do anything for me when I was merely
obese. So, I guess it will work for everyone else.

I suspect it's a little more complicated than that.
> Denying yourself sugars is not a way to lose weight AND keep it off.
Enjoying 18 months and counting of maintaining 15% bodyweight lost.
Reasonable standard for success, no?
> Most diets fail because people become HUNGRY or BORED with the diet.
People who are very hungry all the time with a ketogenic diet
are doing it wrong.
People who get bored with it are not using their imaginations enough.
Or Google. Or Borders. Or wherever else people go to get new ideas
on what to eat.
> Yes you can eat again, you have permission to eat regular meals like

I eat plenty. I eat better than my friends and coworkers. Here they
are,
worried about steak killing them, about nuts making them fat, about
cream hardening their arteries, and everything else in the world. Here
I am, with marcona almonds with sea salt as a snack. With a USDA
prime Ribeye, with a pan sauce made with cream and bourbon. Here I
am eating fabulous meals while you are aspiring to "regular meals"
like
my coworkers. aim higher.

Actually, if you do intervals and weight lifting, you can probably get
er done with 15 minutes of weight lifting 3 times a week, and 20
minutes of intervals twice or more if you want. But to quote Alwyn
Cosgrove (http://alwyncosgrove.blogspot.com/2008/04/april-q-iii.html)
"There's pretty much nothing that can be done to out-train a
crappy diet."
So, this "regular meal" + brisk walking idea is fairly stupid. If you
have very modest goals (lose 5 lbs in the next year) it seems like
this idea would work. Assuming you don't just make yourself
hungrier with your enhanced activity level. Of course, if you are
doing the ketogenic diet correctly, you don't really get hungry. So,
you can eat fabulous meals and lose weight or you can eat these
regular meals and walk around a little and, well, probably buy
more shoes.
If you're Always Learning, pay attention and use fewer antagonistic
declarations. You clearly don't know it all.
