My Favorite Breakfast Quiche

Much experimentation went into this version of an original Quiche
recipe rescued from the net. Quiche can be varied greatly, don't be
afraid to experiment, just keep your eye on the finished volume.
This version will fill a deep unbaked 9 inch pie shell to the top. No
problem adding more things with a Pyrex Glass dish as there is
plenty of freeboard left from the below ingredients.

Ingredients

One "Deep" 9 inch pie shell, unbaked or 9 1/2" Pyrex for crust less if
you prefer. (Actually 1/8 of a deep unbaked pie crust is 11 grams of
carbohydrates.) A glass Pyrex is a much better choice for a lo-carber.

1/2     Cup real mayonnaise (light preferred but not necessary)
2/3     Cup milk
3        Eggs
1        Tablespoon cornstarch ( I substitute one Teaspoon Arrowroot
         flour)
1 1/2  Cups shredded cheese ( cheddar, swiss etc.)
1/2     Cup chopped browned meat (sausage, bacon, beef etc., my
         favorite, Chorizo)
1/3     Cup finely chopped onion
1/8     Teaspoon white pepper ( I substitute Cayenne, be careful )

Mix mayonnaise, milk, eggs, cornstarch, pepper together well and then
add cheese, meat and onions and mix again.

Add to a greased Pyrex dish or your unbaked deep pie shell and bake at
325 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.

A prebaked pie shell takes a little longer than a glass pie dish, 40 to
45 minutes or untill center is firm.

Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.

Enjoy

Thanks Bill, I'll give this a go!

I prefer to stay away from anything called lite, too much added sugar!
