T2 HbA1c 13.9 Trigs 790. 90 days later on strict Atkins Diet. HbA1c 5.2
Trigs 149. That's with NO Drugs Just Atkins Diet.
I am happy to hear your success story. People with type 2 and high
triglycerides can expect this kind of success.
But, of course, only if you are really sticking to Atkins. Obviously you
took it seriously. People with type 2 who do the intake diet for life
will most likely never need medication for high blood glucose levels.
That is a very good thing because those medications typically cause
gradual worsening of the disease.
I have spoken with people who said they were on Atkins but still ate
potatoes. I didn't say anything. They can go ahead and live in their
fantasy world.
