I just joined this group and my goal is to lose some serious weight. I
think that being in a social group for this really helps. So I hope I
will reach my goal and all the other people in this group too.

Welcome! How much do you want to lose? Have you begun figuring out what your
body likes and dislikes when losing weight? In my case, for instance, saturated
fats don't seem to impact my weight loss that much, but refined carbs
definitely dampen it. Listen to your body; the scale will tell you what you're
doing right or wrong.
