Had a sample of this at Costco and it was very good, so I bought a
package. It's 0g carb per slice, 50% less fat. More importantly,
IMO, it really tastes good. And it easily cooks up into near perfect,
very uniform strips. It's not 100% the same exact taste as bacon,
but pretty close and very tastey. I did them as I do bacon, whole
package at a time on a cookie sheet in the outdoor grill.

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up!

Alternatively, Garrett County uncured, dry rubbed bacon is extremely
lean, 60 calories for two fried slices (I nuke mine on a micro grill
pan) that are incredibly delicious and taste like real pork bacon
because they are.
Pork is bred so lean these days that it has almost no fat left. The
package says 40% less fat that regular pork, and it is lower calorie
than others, considering I buy the thick slices, too.

Thanks. I do not think I have seen that brand here in Louisiana, but I
will look for it.
