Vitamins and minerals are essential nutrients needed by our bodies.

benefits of vitamins & minerals for our body health, including
reducing the incidence of cancer.
Beta-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E and selenium known as antioxidants
that can stimulate the body's immune system to fight free radicals
that form carcinogens (substances that can cause cancer), including
preventing damage to normal cells. In animal experiments proved that
these antioxidants can inhibit chromosomal damage, stage of tumor
promotion, cell transformation and cancer formation stimulation

carotene have the greatest risk of lung cancer. Another study of 2000
men, showed that smokers consume less ß-carotene has a risk several
times higher lung cancer than smokers with the level of ß-carotene
consumption is high. Other studies show anti-cancer effects of ß-
carotene in various cancers such as bladder, larynx, esophagus
(throat), stomach, colon / rectum, and prostate. Studies using cell
cultures showed malignant cancer cells can be inhibited by providing
pro-vitamin A in cell culture is subjected to radiation / chemical /
virus triggers the cancer.

The above statement is indisputable, and indisputably simplistic.
A healthy diet is import to your well being, and followers of this
newsgroup suggest that you eat a mix of meat and vegetables but avoid
carbohydrates in general, and sugar, refined (white) wheat flour and
white rice, and pre-processed foods (made from the preceding
ingredients) specifically.
