Just read in local press that "Yates" is now offering LC choices on their
menu including a LC burger, chicken sandwiched in beef patties with cheese.

Lets hope its the way of things to come!

I don't know about other people, but I've found Whetherspoons pubs to be
pretty good, too.  They will usually substitute extra salad for the
chips/baked spuds that things come with, and on that basis their mixed
grill is a pretty good deal.

I cant say I've had a problem with any pub substituting for salad, even had
a guy do a nice avacado and egg salad with a steak last month, but its not
normally quite like that.

If TGI's& McD's do the LC menu options that they are doing in the States I
hope many others will follow suit.
