This treat is a simple and tastes good... to me. I use pure Ghiradelli
unsweetened cocoa powder(18% net carbs by weight, 0 sugar carbs).  I put a
few tablespoons in a glass with a rounded bottom and add some water and mix
the powder into a thick paste. Then I add half&half cream to the consistency
I want followed by Splenda to taste. It's very rich with an ice-cream
consistency and taste.  Any thoughts or suggestions to improve it?

1. They sell unsweetened chocolate baking squares in the baking
department of grocery stores. Pure chocolate with no other
components. It may be that you want to make something for which a good
premade alternative exists.

2. If you insist on making your own, try using butter and cocoa as the
two only ingredients. A tried and true recipe. Butter has a bit of
natural sweetness.

If you wanna REALLY treat yourself rather than using Bakers Chocolate
Squares
buy a Kilo or two of Luxury Cocoa Paste (Valrhona or Callebaut) to make your
LC
Chocolates with!
Cocoa Paste is unsweetened chocolate!
