This WOL/WOE definitely seems harder the 2nd/3rd/4th time then it did
the first. I'm not sure if it's because I've cheated in the past so
it OK to cheat now or if there is a metabolic reason.
Is there any proof that it's actually harder after you gain back all
the weight that you lost in the past or is it just because you somehow
justify that you can cheat just like you did in the past.

In my opinion it all comes down to will-power. You have to want to change
or you won't. Weight is 50% mental to me.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I definitely agree that each time
I re-start is more difficult than the last. I'm just starting my 6th try, and
I'm using every trick in the book to stay on plan!

Yep, I've started/stopped about 3-4 times, the first time (in 2000), I lost
about 9 lbs in 3 weeks which is a lot for someone my size... from 129 to
120... (no calorie counting) .. then I started eating crap again... gained
it all back on.. when I started again.. I hardly lost any weight... For some
reason, I felt that my body got used to it.
