Are there any diet soda drinks available in the UK that don't use aspartame
as the sweetener?  I'm about to embark on induction and I would like the odd
can of fizzy drink if possible.

If there are, I've never found them.  I do have the occasional, very
occasional, fizzy drink containing aspartame (usually tonic to put my
gin in!) and have never really suffered from it.

This one does contain aspartame, but if you want something really nice try
this.  (Don't laugh at this suggestion.)  The Simpson's Waterwork's drinks!
Yes - it's named after the cartoon series.  I think it's being marketed
towards kids for their packed lunches.  It's sugar free, no carbs and comes
in 4 great flavours.  You can find them in any Asda, Tesco (on sale right
now 5 for ?1), Sainsbury's etc...  (Usually next to water rather than
coke/lemondate.)

I pack one with my lunch each day.  Yum....

I went out the other night with some friends and drank diet coke all night.
Iv'e been mega bloated for two days now and i didnt think aspartme affected me.
I'm having a break now to see if i'm correct.

B 4 Xmas I ordered diet rite (aspartme free) from lowcarbmegastore.co.uk which
was great with Jack Daniels in it.
