I just started Atkins again (lost 60 lbs in 5 months 3 years ago, but
failed to maintain) and saw an article on the Atkins website that you
can have 1/2 an avocado on Induction.
In the article it doesn't say if the 1/2 of an avocado is all the
veggies you are allowed for that day. Can I still have salad, and if
so, how much?

yes, you can: three cups of salad a day.

Even WITH the 1/2 an avocado, I can still have 3 cups of salad?

*I apologize for posting the original question twice, I was trying to do
it from work via Google and didn't think it worked the first time.

Yes.  The salad is more of a should have than a can have.  The half an
avocado will have between 2 and 4 grams of carbohydrate (net, they are high
in fiber) leaving plenty of room for salad.
