Packed full of yummy carcinogenic nitrates and nitites, Slim Jims are
anything but healthy.
Having said that, sometimes you GOTTA have one. (Especially on long
driving trips.)

Every single one I've seen has been a single stick, in a wrapper, and
about 1 ounce. Every one I've seen says that it's three carbs per
serving, and a serving is one stick. So, they're lying to one of us.
On a low carb diet, I'd allow for the higher carb count to be safe.
Look I'm not going to stop you from eating them. I think they're
vile, but far be it from me to stand in the way of someone who thinks
they're delicious. Just look at the carb count with a weather eye,
and note how far down sugar is on the ingredient list. Then ask
yourself if it's worth it.

Well, maybe so, but not carb-wise. Jerkey has much higher carbs, last
I checked (in the 20s)

Oh, I'm used to making my own, no sugar.

Surely, that would depend on the recipe. Teriyaki jerky might be
high, but I'm sure other jerkies could be very low--or maybe even
zero grams.
