Radio ad that got it right!

Luna - 13 Jan 2004 18:23 GMT I heard this ad on the radio for an Italian restaraunt called "Romano's Macaroni Grill." I was only half paying attention, but the ad copy was something like "You're enjoying your meal, staring into her dark eyes, while she eats her grilled salmon with a side of veggies since she's watching her carb intake" or something like that. Then they mention the different grilled meat options you can have there. What caught my ear was the "side of veggies." This restaurant knows that low-carbers eat veggies! Yay! I love hearing and seeing stuff like that since so many in the media seem to think "low-carb" means "all meat."
By the way, pre LC I ate there once, and it was really good. I just may go back again, on a date, if I ever get a date.

I thought there was just one to start with, up in Alpharetta or something. I didn't even know it was a chain.

JJ - 14 Jan 2004 00:54 GMT The Alpharetta store just opened in the last month or so, where are you getting information about it closing? I haven't been to this particular restaurant (though I have been to many of them across the country) but I drive by it every day, its parking lot tends to be full in the evening so it looks like it is getting traffic.

Luna: You are a magnet. I think all you need to do is be open and available!

It was probably an American channel I was watching but what amused me is the fact that they have *macaroni* in thier name and are advertising as a place where you *can* eat low carb if you wish.
Pretty cool I think and if I ever find one around here I will most certainly eat there!! :-)
MeOfCourse77 - 15 Jan 2004 04:42 GMT Yea, like you would have trouble getting a date. I seen your blog. u a hottie. The only trouble you have is picking which one to go out with next.

The last guy to show an interest in me (at a karaoke bar where I'm a regular) said he'd be there the next week, and has not shown up since. I get responses to my online personal ad all the time, from old guys, married guys, old married guys, and guys who don't even live in my city. My philosophy is that there is a time and a place for everything, and right now is the time and the place for me to be single, apparently.

I just met someone this past weekend from a dating site. Nice guy and single and he lives a half hour away in a small town from my city. We went out on our second date this evening because he was off work today and are getting together on his next day off which is in a few days.

Cool! I have been out on one date through an online personal's site, the guy was really nice but he had an annoying way of talking, hard to describe here, you'd have to hear it. Anyway, it was enough for me to not be attracted to him. Maybe I'm too picky. *shrug*

Maybe I'm too picky. *shrug* You don't sound picky too me because I think if something annoys you about the other person no matter what it is then it is natural for you not to be attracted to the other person.
I have gone on a few dates since my breakup after my last relationship and was not interested in the dates again after the evening was over.
This is the first guy since my breakup who I seem to be really interested in. I just hope the feeling is mutual so I am not setting myself up to get hurt again.
