What a good point! If our bodies did know more, we would all have
been in great shape all along.

Yeah, I've told her that, she says she's different because she is more in
tune with her body and its needs than the average person. She also thinks
she is psychic. I love my sister, but she's a bit odd.

I have only 3 flaws. My first flaw is thinking that I only have 3 flaws.

Perhaps she could "channel" Dr. Atkins for a consultation. <g>

Then get her to look into the future....she'll see you all fab (and getting
dates) because you lost the weight and there she'll be fatter than ever
because of that 1000 kcal per day pill-diet her doc gave her.

I have a couple sisters like that as well.

Um, if she is so in tune with her body, why is she in such bad
shape?

Well, for a while she thought she had a thyroid problem. She was all
"SOMETHING is wrong with my body, I can sense it." And then when that
turned out not to be the case, she started thinking it was bad karma from
how she'd treated some people in her past. So she's resigned to doing the
diet her doctor said, even though it's very strict, because she thinks the
deprivation will help her atone.
