Check these out at http://www.osolo.com they look like smallish hamburger
rolls at 2 ounces each.  They come four to a box and each is individually
wrapped.

Nurtrition info on the box is 10g carbs and 7g fiber.

They come in sourdough, pumpernickel, original and cinnamon raisin.

I bought the sourdough and they were excellent.

Where did you purchase these? Just wondering because their "store locator" &
"online shopping" links aren't working. Price please?

Hmm, it usually works; maybe they are adding new locations.

Although I usually get them at health food stores, I've also seen them
lately at GNC (where they cost more).

They were $3.95 at my local Healthstyles store (Gillette, WY)  I couldn't
get the links to work either,  hope it's a fluke.  The testimonials for the
muffins go back a couple of years, haven't seen them yet but I would like
to.

The muffins are good! I particularly like the vanilla and the chocolate,
warm with a little cream cheese on them. The muffins are frozen, so I
think fewer places stock them because of storage space problems.

Warning!  Don't be like me.  I stocked up (as I tend to do) well
before I tried any of their products.  Then I discovered I loathed
the one I tried and have not dared try any more of my stockpile.

Nice to see I'm not alone--except it is an expensive mistake.  I
also did this with Nature's Flavors syrups.  Those were ordered
online, so the tradeoffs are a bit different.

And the best thing about them is...buying them at GNC near expiration
date...75 cents a box!

I REALLY didn't like the pumpernickel ones and have not dared try
any more of my stockpiled flavors.  Maybe my standards are too
high though.  I would like to see some bread company produce a LC
pumpernickel that actually tastes like pumpernickel.

In my opinion, the cinnaemon rollz were delicious but the "original " was so
revolting, I had to throw them out.

The manager at our local Trader Joes told us they were having a big problem
with quality issues, most notably mold on the Rollz which is why they
stopped carrying them.

I love these!
The orginal are very good if you toast them. The problem I am having with them
is that I haven't been able to geth them in over a month.  I get them at Trader
Joe's and they said they were pulled until a packaging problem is fixed (I had
several boxes that went moldy well before the expiration date and that was the
problem the clerk referred to).

If anyone knows someplace around D.C. where they are selling them now, please
post it!

One of the nearby GNCs said they had the same problem - something like
70 out of 75 boxes of the sweet rollz were moldy and had to be sent
back. I bought some a few weeks later at a different GNC, but asked to
open the box first to inspect them. They didn't have a problem with
that.

I suspect that some of the smaller companies, while they welcome the
sudden popularity in LC products, were probably not ready to handle the
larger orders.

My local HFS claimed that the boxes dated February or after didn't
have this problem.  Oddly enough, I was seeing one moldy item in
each box before that--even if they were months away from the
expiration date.  I have not been buying the rollz etc.
recently....
