I recently hve tried the new Subway wraps.  While I do like the new
Turkey Bacon wrap it seems quite funny.  They have a sign that says
turn any 6 inch sub into a LC wrap for 59  cents more.  What botherd
me is that the 6 inch turkey sub is 2.99 and adding bacon for an extra
50 cents.  This brings the total to 3.49.  Putting it on a LC wrap
adds another 59 cents.  For a grand total of 4.08...  Why do they
charge me 4.49 for the specail????

Whike I am at it do you think BK will give us a break on the bun free
burger.  Or do they plan on raping us for a few pennies more.  Seems
that the over all cost should go down since they are not providing the
bun...

it's like any other place you want something extra thats not supposed to be
there they are going to charge you for it. like when you get a pizza and it
only come with pepperoni and cheese you want green peppers or bacon on it
the pizza place is going to charge you for it. they still need to make money
some how and not charging for things is like us getting something for free
it just doesn't happen all the time
it's a part of reality

Subway custom makes each sandwich for every customer. Subway has no "premade"
sandwiches. So having it made you way, like every other customer they have,
shouldn't be something you're charged extra for. Marking the "Atkins special"
higher than the clearly posted price for a turkey sandwich with bacon and a
wrap added is just asking to piss people off IMHO.

It also depends on where you live. Here (Lincoln, NE) it's $.99 to turn a
6" sub into a wrap. Costs $4.49 ($ 4.80 with tax) for the turkey wrap no
matter if I use the special or convert a turkey sub to the wrap. And
that's at the store near where I live. The Subway on the north side of
town, I stop at when I am up there, it's 50 cents cheaper for both.

I live outside of Vancouver and just got back from Kona, Hawaii. My wife and
I each had the bacon, turkey wrap and while relatively small, it was very
good. I was amazed to see the tortilla itself. It looked to me like a large,
flour-based, high carb tortilla. I'd love to know who their supplier is
'cause the La Tortillas brand I buy are at least half as small.

What made me laugh was the sign to "turn any sandwich into a wrap". The cost
you ask?   US$1.70!!!

So let me get this straight...if I order a sub, the bun is included for the
stated price. But if I order a wrap, I don't get the bun, but a wrap instead
and you're gonna charge me more?  uh...no!

Nonetheless, I'm glad to see Subway throughout North America offering the lc
wraps.
