Went to Fuddruckers last night, planning to order a steak, or get a
burger and throw away the bun, and saw a new item on the menu, the
Protein Plate.  It is a 2/3 patty, and dinner salad, and a water for
$5.99.

Worked out GREAT because at the fixins bar, they have large lettuce
wraps big enough to cover the burger, so I was able to make a burger
just like the Carl's Jr. low carb 6 dollar burger, but it tasted much
better.  Plus it was nice to have that side salad.

I would recommend it.

The Fuddruckers in our town is in the process of converting over to a
Hooter's.  Gotta find out if those wings are breaded or not.....

Hooters regular wings are breaded but you can order them "naked".
They are really good either way :)

Well, "Fuddrucker's" is just a made-up name designed to sound dirty (a
marketing technique that never made much sense to me.)

"Hooters" is a genuinely offensive name for a place with a genuinely
offensive theme.

So there ya go.

That really comes down to personal opinion.  I like going to the bird
sanctuary and looking at owls.

It's certainly a name you don't want to mispronounce, especially if
you're prone to switching consonants.  :-)

It's not just a place, it's an airline:

I had never heard of this until a few weeks ago when they announced
boarding for a Hooter's Flight at the gate next to mine.  I started
laughing because I thought it was some kind of joke.  The gentleman
sitting across from me rather sheephishly said, "I only take it
because it's a direct flight to Myrtle Beach" as he got up to board.
I bet he buys Playboy for the articles, too.
