As I mentioned in a previous post, I did low carb a year ago and lost
30lbs. I am well on my way to losing the remaining 20lbs. I have begun to
track my calories only out of curiosity and sure enough the low carb diet
has decreased my appetite remarkably. I am actually eating less than 10%
of my body weight in calories and I am not hungry. It is a tribute to
this WOE that one does not have the starvation-like problems of other
weight-loss plans.

-Cheers

You're eating 10% of your body weight???  Something doesn't sound right -
that would imply that a 200 pound person is eating 20 pounds of food??
Huh??

Woops--All of the math got screwed up. I am currently 245 and I am
consuming 2000 calories per day.

Now that makes much more sense.  Sounds like you're on the right track.
Keep in mind that as you lose weight, you should also lower your calorie
intact.  However, in your case, sounds like you're eating less than you
should be.  Another however - if it is working - great!!

Cheers back at 'cha!!

Actually what I meant to say here is that they say to maintain your weight
multiply your weight x10. So if you way 240 and eat 2400 calories you will
maintain your weight (in theory).

Many people lose weight when eating at 10x bodyweight -- and that includes
women.  However, if you're very heavy, it is very possible to need to go
less than 10x bodyweight in calories to lose weight.
