My favorite, Trader Joe's Prosciutto (and whatever), a creamy
sauce, has 6 g per half cup. It is just wonderful, and something
I was not familiar with before.

ok, i'm confused. i thought the OP meant plain tomato sauce. you know,
just tomatoes, cooked for a long time, till it's a smooth sauce. this
sounds more like a prepared pasta sauce.
which is the question about?

You may well be right. Threads drift--esp. when you are not

I have several varieties of DeLallo brand sauce with 3gm net per half cup.
Delallo imports their products from Italy. I find all of their products to
be exceptional and prices are reasonable. Search through the entire pasta
sauce section of your supermarket. I have seen other brands is similar carb
count.
