I have lost around 15lbs.I have noticed that on my thighs right above my
knees the skin looks ripply like cellulite(sp?).It looks like I also have on
each side a ripple or bump that sticks out a bit......like fat has gathered
there.I also have one on each side of my abdomen under my belly. I never had
this before and it looks gross. Its hard to describe.Ugh, wish I could get
across what I mean.Anyone know what I am talking about? I never had any of
this stuff before I started losing weight and now I look worse than I did.
Sorry, I'm just a bit down in the mouth about it, I felt I was doing
something good for my body and now I see things looking worse!

You state that you just started losing weight. To be honest, I have a term
for what you are talking about. I call it the ugly stage. You are losing
some fat and the rest of your body hasn't caught up yet. Here is my
suggestion. Keep losing the weight and in time things will even out and you
will look better than ever. Most people go through the uglys.

Exactly right. What you have is loose skin from losing weight. It should
catch up. Skin is very elastic. It just takes time.

I've heard of this referred to as "jiggly-puff". I went through it. It
seemed to be my fat breaking down and it didn't do it evenly. It eventually
went away. Now that I'm maintaining I don't have it any longer. It takes
time and exercise helps.

I posted here in mid-October about my suddenly saggy thighs (I was PSYCHED
because I knew it meant I was losing fat there). Lately I've noticed that there
is a dramatic improvement in that dept, aside from more weight loss. I AM
exercising my legs (along with other parts of the bod) and they've firmed up
quite a bit -- not just the thighs, but the calves as well. I'm using an
exercise bike and a Total Body Trainer (Body by Jake). It just takes some time
for the body to adjust.

I saw this girl on TLC. She lost soooo much weight & had the same thing. Your
skin just lost it's elasticity (sp?) because when you are heavy your skin
stretches. I don't know what else to do but she had corrective surgery. They
removed the excess skin. You figure you work so hard at it...maybe it's the
icing on the cake when you are satisified with your final weight goal?? I
couldn't do it- I'm a scardy cat.
