Rosacea and LC

I have had rosacea for about 3 years now. Does anyone see any difference in their "problem" if they go off the diet and eat a bunch of bread and candy (as in over Christmas and Thanksgiving)?

I've never heard any official studies, links or improvement, but it seems like mine is better when I stick to the LC diet

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Yes, now that you mention it, my rosacea has gotten better since I've
been on LC.

Two of the nutritional factors that aggravate rosacea are caffeine and
citrus fruits.  Since starting LC I've cut down caffeine to one precious
cup per day, and have cut out citrus fruits altogether.  I really miss
the fruits, but it's nice not having such a red face all the time!

Mine's better, too.

I didn't hear coffee specifically was a factor so much as hot
beverages, spicy food, and alcohol.

I haven't cut down on coffee (switched to decaff), but I've cut down
on alcohol and spicy foods. The spicy foods decrease is a by-product
of low carb: avoiding rice means I'm not likely to hit an Indian
restaurant; avoiding tortillas & tacos keeps me away from Mexican, and
so on. I know full well I could order other things, I'm just not
inclined to seek out a cuisine where my choices are limited. (I'll
accompany someone who wants to go, but I won't seek it out.)

I've had it for over 10 years.  To me, it does not feel any better on an LC
diet -- it still feels burning hot and turns bright red when I'm in
sunlight for even a few seconds, or if I eat spicy food or drink anything
hot, or if I turn the car heater on.  However, to other people, it
apparently looks like it has improved -- several people have remarked (out
of the blue, not with any prompting from me) that my face looks less red in
general now than it used to.

Mine is slightly better.  Before LC, redness would appear the next day if I
missed my medication.  Since low carb I can go a day or two without a
serious breakout.  I'm inclined to credit less alcohol and switching to
decaf coffee and sodas.
