.....things with ZING!!! vinegary, bitey, spicey, lemon zest, lime
zest. I dont care for it any other time but I recently went off the
wagon and never wanted it but each time I am LC'ing I crave the sour
zip. Wanna Play Along??? What do you like during LC that you generally
don't eat? Has your taste for something changed???

Crunchy, salty, sweet things.
PieNtheSky32 - 15 Jan 2004 21:38 GMT
Healthy stuff like broccoli, cauliflower, spinach. I couldnt bare the smell
of them before I started LC. My taste buds have totally changed.

Everytime I see a Pizza Hut comericial I want a super supreme pan pizza.
Cheri - 16 Jan 2004 00:48 GMT
Those IHOP commercials do the same to me. The hashed browns and
pancakes. I miss those a lot some days. Geez.

Chocolate. Warm french bread drenched in butter.

During my induction, I guess I was lucky. I didn't crave a single thing. I
had someone to cook for me according to Atkins guidelines and I simply ate
what was cooked. Ample portions were served, and if anything, I had to ask
that they be scaled back.
Today I found myself remembering to eat balanced meals and to resist the
temptation to not eat (since I'm not hungry). I know eating too few
calories wouldn't be good for me right now.
But LC'ing or not, I'll always want
- French Fries (no replacement)
- Buns on my sandwiches (LC 3g/slice bread)
- Breyers Butter Pecan (CarbSmart 5g/serv)
- German Chocolate cake (no replacement)
- Pizza (toss crust, eat toppings)

I had a strong craving a while ago for grapefruit juice, which I have never
ever liked. I think my body may have needed more potassium or vitamin C,
not sure. Anyway, I satisfied the craving by mixing some Real Lemon
concentrated lemon juice in a glass of cold water. The Real Lemon is 0g
carbs per serving, which could mean half a carb or more, and I probably
used 3 or 4 "servings" in my glass of water.

I have only 3 flaws. My first flaw is thinking that I only have 3 flaws.

If you have this craving again, Crystal Light has Ruby Grapefruit,
as does Ocean Spray Lite. BTW, the latter is not so disgustingly
sweet as the Cranberry-Grape. Still pretty high in carbs if you
drink a whole cup.

Beef. I didn't really eat that much of it before, but now I love it. I've
learned how to prepare various cuts correctly on this WOE, so that probably
has a lot to do with it. My mom (love her) couldn't cook beef very well...
only the dog seemed not to mind. It was always tough and flavorless.
