I asked myself the same question.
Does anyone else also find the animated image at the top of the page
slightly unsettling?

No...but dd you read what you have to do to the egg before using that
machine. Personally, I'd mess up the egg before I got it in the machine.
IMO, that machine is useless for me.

Actually, with those instructions you don't need the product at all. Any
time you follow those instructions, you'll get easy-to-peel eggs.

$20 bucks?! come on how hard is it to peel an egg. Lasiness is what got me
to this weight.

:) Sadly, peeling 20 eggs probably wouldn't help much in the battle against
weight :). If the damn thing worked and really make egg peeling simple and
clean it might be worth something. But, from what others have said, you end
up doing the real work yourself anyway.

Laziness was not my problem; at least, that's not why I got fat.
Being hungry all the damned time was my problem. Once I discovered
that the so-called 'medical' profession was lying to me about what I
should and should not eat, and that it was possible to eat things that
didn't make me hungry all the damned time, I dumped a great deal of
excess weight relatively easily (and regained much of my health &
energy in the process).
"Lazy fat blob" is a false stereotype, and I would very much like to
discourage its use. Most of us here got fat because of the nonstop
disinformation we were fed from multiple sources, not from laziness.

You know, compared to most LCers (it seems), I'm basically a non-egg eater.
Not that I don't like them....but I just rarely bother with them. Maybe on
a weekend I'll do an omelete, but I never went through any egg craze.

i didn't eat them hardly at all for the first six months or so, but i go
through phases with food. i also didn't eat a single can of tuna when i
was doing induction.
as for the link ... anyone who's too lazy to peel their hardboiled eggs
shouldn't even be bothering to make them. sheesh.

I like eggs lots of ways but have never been too fond of them hardboiled.
Speaking of eggs, large eggs were 77? a dozen at Kroger's today. Their
Kroger brand smoked sausages were $2.00, too, they have an excellent flavor.
