Got this from my son's girlfriend . Can I use this during induction ?

Pizza Crust Recipe

2/3 cup Soy Protein Powder (or Atkins Bake Mix)
2/3 cup Parmesan Cheese
1/4 cup Whipping Cream
1/2 cup Cold Water
Optional:  Spices

-Mix Soy and Cheese (and spices if your using those)together.  Add Water and
Cream.  Mix with a fork until most of the liquid is blended in, then mix
with your hands.  It should feel pastery-like.  (I always add a little more
water so it's not so crumbly.)
Smush it out onto a non stick cookie sheet, or a cookie sheet lined with
foil then sprayed with lots of Pam!
-Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.  Top with toppings then bake 10-12 more
minutes, until cheese is melted and crust is more brown.
-Eat!

Please give a report.  I need to use the stuff I got before I read
all the negative comments.

Another idea would be to use an egg crust, think of a fritata with
pizza toppings: small amount of sauce, cheese, bacon, ground beef,
peppers, chicken, whatever.

if it's not on the list of induction foods, you're not supposed to eat
it.  is soy protein powder on the list of induction foods?  it wasn't
the last time i checked.

induction is only for two weeks.  butch up.

What list ? I have been using the Atkins book "Atkins for life" following
the 45 carb a day meal plan ...in 6 days I have lost 15 pounds ...I know I
will plateau out but I didn't know there a list of stuff for induction .

I have never felt *induction* was necessary unless you seriously need to get
rid of carb cravings. It also helps on a mental level because you get a
quick weightloss during those two weeks although a large part of it at first
is just going to be water. If you are losing weight doing this the way you
are, then it's obviously working for you and you are happy with it so don't
change. However you did mention *Can I use this during induction* so it
would seem you *are* doing the two week induction period.. thus the question
you were asked about the list. And if you are sticking to 45 grams a day and
steadily losing, you may or may not plateau.. sometimes it happens that you
can get *stuck* a little if your body decides to adjust somehow to the lower
carbs and starts porking back up for some reason.. then you drop the carb
level and get it moving again. Most of the time though it happens because of
something we have eaten that caused the problem and we didn't realize it.

45 carbs a day?  Not doing induction first then. Induction period is 20
carbs and under. In the book!

i battled with this one for quite some time.
simply, Nothing, I repeat Nothing replaces the pizza base
that wheaten flours can produce.
roll your base thin, cook it a little lower and longer so it
turns out very hard and not burnt.
cut small pieces and live with the carbs.
only use 0-nil carb count fillings - IF you DO like pizza
that much.
to answer your question?
no pizza during induction,, its two weeks in a lifetime -
try it.
