Halloumi.
That's it, Halloumi.
It's called, on the package "The Cheese That Grills." Plop it on a
pan with a drop of olive oil and a wee bit of oregano, then fry (or
grill) it up. In two minutes you will have the most delectable taste
sensation ever.
Well, the most delectable taste sensation that one can get out of two
minutes with cheese.
Halloumi can be found at finer supermarkets (like Bristol Farms in Los
Angeles) as well as Whole Foods.
Cheers,
Nina

Gorgeous over a bed of rocket leaves with some balsamic vinegar/olive oil
dressing and some roasted pine nuts!
Halloumi rocks!

I'm gonna have to put this on my list. I have never experimented
with this cheese.

Thanks for the recommendation. I've never heard of it, but will happily give it
a try now.
Hope you're doing well these days.

It's virtually identical to queso blanco. Same characteristics; same
(small) flavor until it's browned.

Small flavor? But size doesn't matter!

Never heard a woman say that before. That flavor thing.
