Everyone will have different diet's which work for them, and I don't think
that it is fair to "bash" any one philosophy over any other.
I have been eating a diet which would make 99% of the people here cringe
over the past five days, but if it works for me, then no problem, right?
I do feel however that it is when we move from advocating one diet over
another, to forcing our opinions down on people on a nationally syndicated
talk show like many celebrities chose to do, then you are crossing over that
line, and you need to step back and keep yourself in check.

I was one of the 12 people in the country that bought her cookbook in the '80s,
'C'mon America, let's Eat.' back during the low fat craze. The thing that made
me lose respect for her was when she surfaced again a few years ago hawking her
rather costly 'secrets' to help recovering alcoholics. Can you say 'charlatan'?
Now she's a stand up comic.
I saw her and wondered how much the starch and sugar industry was paying
her. I also wondered where she purchased he speed. It must be really
good speed since the motor mouth bitch didn't stop one second for anyone
else to say anything.
