I've been on SB for 10 days now and have lost 10lbs. Went out to eat last
night and had veal marsala, broccoli in garlic and oil and broccoli rabe
side. This is the first time out since starting SB. I noticed that the food
tasted EXCELLENT.. Does anyone know if the diet actually enhances the
ability to taste? or is it my imagination...
Thanks

Doing Atkins and not SB. I hated broccoli before I started and now it is my
favortie veggie.

My taste buds have completely changed over the past couple weeks (I'm new to
Low Carb). They have become much more sensitive to flavors. Things that I
used to find bland now seem flavorful. I really enjoy eating foods now. It
seems like just about anything I eat seems so satisfying and delicious, so I
am content. Instead of the way it was, where I'd eat this and that wouldn't
satisfy me, so I'd think of some other thing to eat and no that would do it
either...
Food tastes better now. It definitely does. :)

Definitely. There was a post a while back where someone noticed that
bell peppers (green, red and yellow) are actually sweet. Without the
refined carbs and sugars overloading your taste buds you *can* enjoy
natural tastes better.
