I have one of the original Atkins New Diet Revolution books and for the life
of me, I cannot find something called WOE. Will someone kindly please tell
me what that means?

I have lost over 60 pounds and maintaining the loss. However, the only thing
I have added back so far is nuts!!!! I am totally addicted to them. Once in
a while I will have a slice of low carb toast with an egg, and a tangerine
or half an orange. I also have fresh frozen strawberries and blueberries
(measured out for low carb content) sprinkled with Splenda and about 1
tablespoon of heavy cream. Yum! I make cheese cakes and chocolate freezer
pops, whipped cream candy too. I go VERY EASY on those with cream because I
don't get as hungry any more and I am backing off on too much fat. The cream
cheese I use is fat free, as well as the sour cream.
I pick on nuts every night and do have a hard time eating them in
moderation. I know how to combat this, I just pray I can do it.
What is WOE?
Thank You,
Jo-Ann

Note that we call it this to distinguish it from a (temporary)
diet.

Thank you all who responded. Now I know what everyone is talking about. LOL!
I pray that my maintenance becomes my WOE for life, One Day at a Time!

Don't the fat-free cream cheese and sour cream have a lot of extra carbs? Could
that be making you get the nut munchies? I'd UP my fat intake personally, not
cut it back. WOE=way of eating.

Unfortunately-I found that I cannot digest the fats in cream cheese. I
became SO ILL and my abdominal pains were too much to bear. I was rushed to
the hospital and they took an Ultra-Sound. All is OK but I have to keep away
from cream cheese and a few other foods with unprocessed milk solids. Yet--I
CAN eat heavy whipped cream. I can't figure it. Here's the recipe for the
"Candy". This is NOT my recipe. A gentleman posted it on this group some
time ago. Bless His Heart and Thanks to him!!!!

                                                              CHOCOLATE
WHIPPED CREAM "CANDY"

1 pint heavy cream,  1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 5 packets of Equal or
about ? cup Splenda.
Whip up till still and dollop onto waxed paper lined cookie sheets. Freeze
and then put into plastic bags-store in freezer.

NOTE: This can also be made with any type of sugar free Jell-O using one
pint heavy cream to one package sugar free Jell-

If it's "milk solids" you're having a problem with, it's not the fat.
It's probably milk protein, as cream cheese has 5 times as much per
ounce as heavy cream (but about the same amount of carb).
