Hi all i am usually a lurker but felt like typing today. I have been
doing Low carb on and off for a year now. Was bouncing between 140 and
145 during the holidays. Had a real hard time breaking past 140. So
january 5 I went back on strict induction and after 13 days I lost 8
lbs and jumped on scale this morning and got a beautiful number of
137!!! Not only that but I feel so cleansed and energentic to rid of
all that junk in my system. My friend at work said to me this week
(who also does atkins) Boy your losing that weight pretty quick. (At
the time I was early in week 2 and had lost 5lbs) I said well this
week so far I have not dropped any lbs. She said you look leaner all
in your face. : )  But low and behold I had dropped 3lbs. Since this
time last year I have dropped 51lbs. My goal now is to be 120 by April
14 (my 34th birthday) and I think that will be it as far as losing any
more. I gave myself ample time to reach this goal but at this rate I
may hit sooner. : )
