I had a low carb day and wanted a tasty snack in the evening. I came
up with this little splurge.

I used Stuffing Mushrooms. I removed the mushroom stems--I used them
in a separate salad. I mixed the cream cheese and mayo till smooth.
Threw in the cheese and parsley. I then fried up crumbled
sausage-breakup nice and small. Mixed the hot sausage into the mixture
and then overstuff into mushroom. A short trip in a broiler or toaster
oven to melt/crisp the top. I had a little extra mix. Could have
probably stuffed 8 mushrooms.

Hi there, thanks for the post, sounds yummy.  I'd like to know though, what
does 350/345/200 mean?
I assumed it was goal weight increments, but can't mean you've lost 150lbs
if you just started on Jan. 12.
Please enlighten me, I'm new to the group.
Thanks, TavliGal

The first number is his/her starting weight, the second is current weight, and
third is goal.  :-)

At the restaurant where I work ... we do our sausage-stuffed mushrooms more
basic (just fyi for you recipe-philes):

Toss mushroom caps in olive oil, fill halfway with shredded mozzarella, then a
thimble-sized amount of sausage, sprinkle with parmesan ... bake in the
wood-burning oven (which is usually around 450) until cooked on top, flip the
sausage, and cook until sausage is done.

I'm thinking you could do these in the toaster oven, but they're GOOD.

I can't wait to try them with the CREAM cheese though!! MMM!
