I reported that
CarbSense had a Low Carb
Brownie Mix,
the Taste is Good, and
a Great change from
Cream Cheese type Sweets.

I also  reported that they
were Dry, Well I have found
that if you add a half Cup
of Mayo, to the batter, the
Brownies are moister.
This will not change the
Carb Count, but will
raise the Fat Content.

Mayo?  Sounds like it doesn't belong in a brownie.  Wouldn't butter, or
oil do the same thing?  Although, now that I think about it, what is
mayo, but oil and eggs.  Maybe it does make sense. Hmmm.

Back when I was in college (junior year in Israel) our standard
chocolate cake recipe contained mayonnaise. It made a delicious and
moist cake, and it was kind of fun to wait until after guests had tasted
it to tell them what was in it.

That would be correct.  Have you never had mayonaisse cake?

What brand of Mayo has zero carbs?
Is it made from eggs?  Eggs have carbs.

Duke's Mayonnaise (sold in southern US) has no carbs and is made with
eggs.  I looked up the carb content of eggs at
http://www.aeb.org/food/nutrient.html

For .61 carb per egg, I'm not going to worry about it!  :)
