Diet Rite has come out with a Tangerine flavored carbonated soda ... closest
thing I can think of at the moment.

for breakfast that might be a bit *more* than I'd want with my bacon and eggs.

How about Sugar Free Tang?  I'm not sure if it's made with Splenda,
but they make it.  I found it at Super Walmart, of course.

Unsweetened tangerine or orange-pineapple Kool-Aid, sweetened
with about 1/2 cup Splenda instead of a whole cup.  Either one
tastes more like juice than orange Kool-Aid does.

(Actually, I use 1/4 tsp NOW stevia "potent white extract" powder,
and about a teaspoon of liquid saccharin, for a carb-free version)

Thanks for posting this suggestion.  I had never even thought of getting
unsweetened koolaid and making it with Splenda.

I always liked juice mixed with some sparkling water.  Now I think I'll try
this mixed sparkling water instead.

I'll have to pick some up  next time I'm at the store.

Speaking o' such, now I am thinking of combining some of the
relatively high-carb juice drinks (ones that are ca 10 g per cup
and are frequently labeled "lite") with compatible 0-carb
carbonated beverages to lower the carb count.

I thought the Cranberry-Grape was MUCH too sweet.  The grapefruit
one is a lot better but, as you say, too high in carbs.  What
other ones aren't really sweet?

I mix the CranGrape with water or soda, because it is pretty syrupy
sweet.

The diet V8 Splash tropical blend has only 3g per 8oz, and I water that
down a bit, too, and add a twist of lemon to cut the sweetness.

I have coupons for a couple of free bottles of OceanSpray.  I got
a bottle of the Cranberry, which I think is better than the
CranGrape, which was just toooo sweet.  (My daughter ended up
drinking it though.)  I still want to dilute the Cranberry because
it is 10 g carb per cup, which is pretty high.  If I can drink
half of that and half of something that has 0 g carbs, that is a
more-acceptable average.

Speaking of such, and even getting back to the subject in the
header, I did see Tropicana's Light and Healthy today.  (At Stop &
Shop in Massachusetts.)  I didn't buy it, because it is still 17 g
carb per cup--which is MUCH too high.  Maybe if they had something
smaller than a half gallon, I would buy it and dilute it A LOT.
Or use a bit for cooking, but how can I ever use a half gallon of
it if I am also diluting it?

I hope the OP is still here!

My husband wanted something with his breakfast this morning.  He mixed a bit of
daVinci's sugar free orange syrup with a bit of lemon juice and water.  Voila!
Tang!

We are going to try putting it through our smoothie maker with ice next!

My sister has always mixed perrier or san pellegrino with about
1/4-1/2 cup of cranberry juice and a twist of lime. Really refreshing
and crisp. She used it as a  great way to enjoy juices without all the
sugar during her pregnancy.
