I went to pick up some keto stix at Walmart and they told me that they
were out and that the ketodiastix were about the same thing....I
didn't want to plunk down $$$ without knowing for sure....anyone know
for sure?

Yes, they are the same thing. I've used them. They also measure
something else, (glucose, I think) on the same stick.

Yes, they're the same thing. I have to test my dog's urine (he's a
diabetic, should I put him on Atkins?), so I just buy the KetoDiastix so I
can test myself once in a while too. Instead of just having the Ketone
'tester' on the end of the stick, they have a glucose and a keytone 'tester'
on the end. I also cut these in half lengthwise to double my supply for
free. :)

If you want, you can (quickly and carefully, so as not to expose to air
very long) cut off some of the green glucose test squares and save in
a small portable container, if you think the soft drinks you are served
are sometimes not really diet.
