What really gets to me is that so few people bother to read the book.  Just
as this article points out - eating all the red meat, bacon and cheese that
you want is only during induction.  Most people stop there and think that
that's what the Atkins diet is all about.  If they would bother to read the
book they would understand that it's not an eat all you want diet.

And even induction isn't just red meat and bacon, it's any protein, the list
of allowed foods specifically lists fish, fowl, and shellfish as well as a
variety of meats.
